Network Requirements for Awtomic on Shopify POS

Which web addresses your store network must allow so Awtomic POS tiles work

If your store uses a firewall, content filter or a locked-down network for Shopify POS, share this page with your IT or network team. It lists what Awtomic's POS tiles (club signup, memberships, card on file) need to work.

1. Allow Shopify's own POS list first

Awtomic runs inside Shopify POS, so Shopify POS must work on your network first. Shopify publishes its requirements here: Setting up your network for Shopify POS.

2. Allow these Awtomic hostnames

Allow outbound HTTPS (port 443) to:

HostnameNeeded for
shapi.bundlepayments.comRequired. Every Awtomic POS tile uses it. If it is blocked, no Awtomic tile will load.
deposit.shopifycs.comShopify's secure card vault. Used when staff key in a new card in an Awtomic tile.
bundle-public-assets.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.comCard brand icons only. Tiles still work without it.
shapp.bundlepayments.comOnly if staff open the Awtomic app in Shopify admin from this network.

Allow by hostname, not by IP address

Awtomic does not use static IP addresses for these hosts. They run on Amazon Web Services, and the IP addresses can change at any time. Add the hostnames above to your allow-list. An IP-based rule will break without warning.

Good to know

  • No inbound rules are needed. Awtomic's servers talk to Shopify directly. Nothing from Awtomic connects into your store network.
  • HTTPS inspection. If your firewall inspects or re-signs HTTPS traffic, exclude the hostnames above from inspection. Re-signed traffic can make the tiles fail to connect.

Still having trouble after allowing these? Contact Awtomic support and tell us which tile fails and what message staff see.
