Club and Membership: Loyalty and rewards configuration

Reward members for special milestones in a personal way that helps you keep them longer

Loyalty and Rewards in Awtomic use our powerful Moments feature. This is not a solution for points and referrals, but delivers a highly personalized and powerful retention tool for club members.

Each moment has a few main components:

  • The Trigger: something that happened, like a certain number of shipments, amount of time since joining, club status change, etc.
  • The Reward: can be a discount, a gift, a choice from a list of gifts, a special offer discount on a product, or a badge
  • The Communication: A badge and banner for the customer portal, an email, SMS or custom Klaviyo event to tell the customer about the moment and celebrate the reward

Moments can also be segmented, which provides the most personal and innovative type of rewards program. For example you could:

  • Offer different rewards for different club tiers
  • Offer special rewards for specific customers (like Friends and Family) regardless of club tier
  • Offer different reward programs based on whether the customer is local or doesn't live nearby

The badging system allows you to create a visible "retention roadmap" for customers that is constantly reinforced when they visit the portal. This reminds them of the incentives they still can earn, and the benefits they've already gotten as a club member.

While moments are often used to incentivize retention, you can also use them for:
1.) Growing average order value: use gifts, discounts and offers to introduce customers to higher price point bottles or clubs
2.) Mitigate churn: target people who have skipped, paused or canceled with special offers to get them to stick around

Moments can be configured by going to Awtomic -> Tools -> Moments. You can configure as many as you'd like, and as customers earn them and/or claim rewards, you'll be able to see segmented lists and analyze the impact.
