Changing and updating club contents
Winemaker's selection? Updating vintages? We have you covered.
Now that your clubs are set up, We can discuss how you'll manage them. After your club members are migrated, or after you begin selling your club on Shopify, you'll have multiple subscription records as described in the introduction. In this section, we'll cover how to update your club members club contents as you sell new vintages or new club selections.
To manage and update your clubs, you'll go to Awtomic -> Tools -> Bundles and click into the club that you plan to update.
In the products section, you'll press "Manage Products" and de-select bottles you want to remove, and select the new bottles you want to add. If you have multiple sections, you'll have to do this for each section.
Once your selection is complete, you'll press "save" at the top of the page. This will open the auto-swap updater tool with a few options. Most clubs, especially traditional clubs, will use the "Reset Selections" option. This will allow you to define the initial club allocation for all members of the club you are updating. Going through this flow will allow you to update the allocation for each club size that you have defined. Once you complete the flow and confirm, it will begin the updating process of updating club contents for all of the club members in their subscription records. Once the update is complete, customers can customize their clubs with the bottles that you have made available in the club. Note they will only have access to those bottles, not your full catalog. You can include bottles in the club selection that you do not initialy allocate to anyone in the auto-swap flow.
Another option to consider is to choose to "select specific replacements." In this version of the flow you'll get to map each bottle to it's replacement - for example you can update the vintage of the Sauv Blanc 2023 to the Sauv Blanc 2024. When this update is executed, it will maintain your customer's preferences in terms of the number/distrubtion of bottles they have, but will replace their old selection with the new item you defined. This is a nice way to enable a white glove feeling of customization from shipment to shipment.
