Adding to cart and checkout flow

How a customer will experience adding a subscription to their cart and checking out

Once a subscription has been added to a shopper’s cart, they will be able to see the frequency displayed under the product and variant names.

The selected frequency will also show in the order details of the checkout pages, along with a “recurring order” badge to let the customer know they are signing up for a recurring charge:

On the final step of checkout, customers will be required to check a box confirming that they understand they are signing up for a recurring charge. The copy, checkbox and required state is all determined by Shopify, not Awtomatic.

Finally, once checkout is complete, the customer will see a “Subscription” section on their order confirmation page with a link to manage their subscriptions. If they have not already, they will need to create an account with your store in order to do so.
