Planning your wine club
Flexible options unlock lots of opportunity with traditional models and subscription models
Awtomic was built to support a lot of flexibility, so when you're planning out your new or transitioning wine club, there are a few things you can consider that may not have been possible before:
Here are a few things you can mix and match across your clubs:
- Whether or not the club is customizable
- If the club has one or more required numbers of bottles, or a minimum requirement
- if the club has a fixed billing schedule or a subscription options with one or multiple frequencies
For example, you could offer a traditional club for 6 or 12 bottles with a fixed schedule that bills once a quarter on specific days and is updated to winemaker's selection every quarter but also customizable after that. You can also offer a customizable subscription club that has a minimum of 3 bottles that people can buy every 1, 2, or 3 months. THere is no limitation to how many clubs you have and they can each have their own configuration.
When transitioning to Awtomic from another platform, we can help you map out how you want your clubs in Awtomic, whether you want to move members over with the exact same configuration or if you want to transition customers to a more flexible or customizable model.
The way we control these configurations are through two tools in the app - Subscription Plans, which dictate the billing schedules, and Bundles, which dictate the requirements and products in the club. In the next two sections we'll walk through how to set these up.
