Changelog

Added

Tipping

You can now collect tips on Admin and POS card-on-file flows and on subscription signup. Turn tipping on once in POS settings and your team can offer percentage presets or custom amounts, attributed to the sales associate on the order. Refunds are tracked separately, and summary plus per-order CSVs are available so payroll and reconciliation stay accurate.

Improved

Memberships - Online store benefits

Membership tiers now extend beyond the POS. You can add automatic online store discounts and free shipping that apply at checkout when a customer's email matches their tier. Subscription items in the cart are excluded so members never get a double-discount on what they're already subscribed to.

Improved

Add product - Bulk update ($1 product price)

Bulk Update → Add product now supports a fixed unit price in addition to percentage discounts. You can set an exact final price — for example, $1.00 — when adding a product across many subscriptions at once, which is essential for anniversary bottles, milestone gifts, and other token-priced add-ons where compliance rules prohibit $0 alcohol. The fixed price applies uniformly across every subscription in the run and uses your shop's primary currency, with validation to keep entries above zero and at the correct precision.

Improved

Membership by tag

Membership qualification now supports customer tags, so you can grant benefits to shoppers who aren't necessarily active subscribers. You can layer a tag filter (any, all, or not) on top of an existing subscription-based tier to refine eligibility, or stand up a tag-only tier that's evaluated in real time at checkout — useful for groups like "Founders Club" or "Event Attendee" that you manage through Shopify tags. Each membership tier now also gets its own auto-generated Shopify segment, replacing the static member count with a direct link to the live segment.

Added

Bulk update for Batch Settings

You can now bulk update batch settings on existing subscriptions, so changes you make to a Subscription Plan can flow through to your subscribers without manual edits. Trigger the update from the Subscriptions list or directly from the Subscription Plan editor after editing batch settings, and optionally reschedule each subscription's next billing date to align with the new batch schedule. The Update Next Billing Date bulk action also has a new option to respect each subscription's batch settings, so rescheduled dates automatically snap to the closest valid batch date.

Added

Custom data definitions (Membership associate)

You can now define your own custom subscription data fields — like "Membership Associate," "Account Owner," or any other operational context — without resorting to raw key/value attributes. From settings, choose whether the field is stored as a subscription metafield or attribute, give it a type (text, single or multi choice list, date, or true/false), and define the options where applicable. Each definition then appears on the subscription detail page with the right input control, so staff can pick from a dropdown, toggle a switch, or use a date picker instead of guessing at keys and formats.

Improved

Moments rewards ($1 product price)

Moments rewards now support a fixed unit price alongside the existing free product and percentage discount options. When you configure a reward, you can set an exact final price — for example, $1.00 — so wineries and other merchants with compliance restrictions on free alcohol can offer member anniversary bottles and other token-priced perks without giving the item away at $0. The fixed price is enforced reliably on every triggered reward in your shop's primary currency.

Added

Allow customer tags to define memberships (and combos - tags and items in subs)

You can now grant membership benefits to customers based on their Shopify customer tags, not just active subscriptions. Combine a tag filter (any, all, or not) with an existing subscription tier to refine who qualifies, or create a tag-only tier that's checked in real time at checkout — perfect for cohorts like "Founders Club" or "Event Attendee" that you manage through tags. Each membership tier now also gets its own auto-generated Shopify segment so you can see the live member list at a glance.

Added

Vault card w/o creating subscription (checkout)

Enterprise wineries can now vault customer payment methods on non-subscription checkouts — like tasting reservations and one-time bottle purchases — without creating visible subscription contracts that pollute reporting or churn metrics. Configure eligible products under Settings → Awtomic Extras and Awtomic handles the vaulting behind the scenes, so you can convert tasting guests into club members without asking for the card again.

Added

Memberships MVP

You can now create membership tiers tied to active subscriptions. Pick which products qualify customers as members, then automatically reward them with POS discounts and customer tags — no manual codes or setup required. Tags flow through to Shopify Flows and your email tools so you can segment loyal subscribers anywhere they need recognition.
